The third annual Black on the Block festival, now partnered with Live Nation Urban, returns to Washington D.C.'s Nationals Park on Sunday, October 19. Founded by sisters Char and Lanie Edwards during the pandemic in 2021, this cultural celebration features over 80 Black-owned businesses, music, food, and giveaways with the goal of circulating the Black dollar and boosting business visibility. Originally launched in Los Angeles, the festival has expanded nationally and regularly attracts hundreds of thousands of attendees, with D.C. being a priority location due to the founders' connections to the area.
